01 실질적인 자립을 향해

프로그램을 시작한 이래로, 3년이 지난 시점부터 매년 5~10가정 정도가 자립에

성공하여 졸업하게 되었습니다. 가정의 자립 여부는 마을위원회에서 가정의

경제 상황을 꼼꼼히 점검한 후 결정됩니다.

02 가정 맞춤형 지원

아동 학비/학용품 지원, 급식비 지원, 영양 지원, 의료 및 생계 기반 지원,

비농기간 쌀 제공 등 각 가정이 처한 환경에 맞는 지원을 제공합니다.

핸즈와 7년 동안 인연을 이어온 BV_0113 가정은 자립에 성공하였습니다!

가정에는 식수 펌프를 설치하여 깨끗한 물을 사용할 수 있게 되었고,

지원받은 학용품으로 공부할 수 있었던 딸 탐(Tham)과 아들 친(Chin)은

어느새 자라 어엿한 사회의 일원이 되었습니다. 탐은 신발 물류센터에 취업하여 상품 포장 일을 하며, 친도 하노이에서 일을 합니다. 아이들은 사회의 일원으로 자리매김하였고, 부모님은 막막했던 가정의 생계를 스스로 이끌어 갈 수 있는 여력이 생겼습니다.

4년간의 후원을 받으며 성장한 BV_0086 가정은 생계를 유지할 능력과 빚을 갚을 힘이 생겼습니다. 무엇보다 가축 지원으로 제공받은 닭은 소득에 큰 보탬이 되고 있습니다. 아이들은 그 동안 학비 지원을 통해 친구들과 같이 학교를

다닐 수 있게 되었으며 딸 푸엉(Phuong)은 고등학교를 졸업하고 일도 하고

있습니다. 특히, 지병을 앓고있는 아들 틴(Thinh)은 의료비 지원으로

꾸준한 약물 치료를 통해 건강을 많이 회복하였습니다.
